Payment methods accepted
NGR Computers are able to accept credit cards through a secured Payment Gateway solution provided by Paygate.
PayGate is a secure, reliable, easy to use and cost effective Standard Bank verified credit card processing facility.
NGR Computers together with Paygate has been testing the Verified By Visa and Mastercard Securecode system since February 2006. We were the first online store to run the system and were finally made live in October 2006. We are now processing secure transactions on a daily basis!
What is MasterCard SecureCode?
MasterCard SecureCode is the name of the service provided by MasterCard. It uses personal identity information and PINs to provide added protection against unauthorised use of MasterCard cards when shopping at participating online merchants.
What is Verified by Visa?
Verified by Visa is the name of the service provided by Visa. It uses personal PINs and identity information to help protect Visa card numbers against unauthorised use online.
How will the online merchant know that I have activated my card or cards for Secure Internet Shopping?
When a card that has been activated for Secure Internet Shopping is used at participating online merchants, your card number will be recognised and you will be prompted to enter your PIN to complete the purchase.
How does Secure Internet Shopping protect me?
When you correctly enter your secret PIN during a transaction at a participating online merchant, you confirm that you are the authorised cardholder and the transaction is then completed. If an incorrect PIN is entered, the transaction will not be completed. Even if someone has your credit or cheque card number, the purchase cannot be completed without your PIN provided that you are shopping at a participating merchant. A fraudster will not be able to use an activated card at a participating merchant as they will not know the secret PIN you selected. Your SecureCode CSP is the same as your CSP

What other checks do we do?
In order to reduce our risk, we do a verification check on every Credit Card customer - this allows us to make the transaction with little chance of fraud. This also protects you, the credit card holder, as we ensure that you do not have a criminal using your credit card on our site.
Once the credit card details have been captured via our secure site the transaction must be authorised by the bank. If the card is valid and the customer has sufficient funds available, the bank will reserve the funds and return an "authorisation code". This happens instantly before the order is completed. This code is an assurance to us that the bank will reserve the stipulated amount of money on your account for a period of time. (approximately two weeks). The funds are not deducted from your account, only reserved. The funds are only removed and paid to us once stock and availability are confirmed. This is an added feature to ensure that you, our customers will not be charged in any way in the event of stock not being available.
These features will incur an additional charge of 3% of your order total. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
We try to keep our pricing as low as possible, and tend to stay away from anything that would result in us having to increase our prices. We are confident that you will agree that our prices are highly competitive despite these added costs, while still giving you the option of a verified and secure credit card transaction.

You can do a direct deposit in one of two ways :
Internet Transfer (EFT)
You can transfer the amount directly into our bank account. Once the transfer has been done, please email us your order number, the amount transferred and the name of your bank. Alternatively, you can fax us the deposit slip. Please note that Internet transfers may take up to 3 business days to clear. We will ship the goods as soon as our bank has cleared the funds.
Cash or Cheque Deposits
You can deposit the amount by cash or cheque into our account at any Standard Bank and include your name or order number as a reference. Please fax or email us your order number, the amount transferred and whether it was cash or cheque. We wish to point out that cheques take 7-10 days to clear. We can only ship your purchases once the payment has been cleared.
